Christopher S. Menasco
Mr. Menasco is responsible for conducting financial,
industry, and buyer research, creating valuation and
financing models, and preparing selling and private
placement memoranda. He joined Matrix in December of
2004 after graduating from the College of William and
Mary with a B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in
accounting and a minor in economics. During his time at
William and Mary, Mr. Menasco was a founding Officer of
the Finance Academy. Prior to William and Mary, Mr.
Menasco spent four years in the United States Marine
Corps with the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Teams and
the 2nd Marine Division.

Matthew F. Murphy, Jr.
Mr. Murphy is a member of the Energy & Multi-Site Retail Team and is responsible for conducting financial, industry, and buyer research, creating valuation and financing models, and preparing selling and private placement memoranda. Since joining Matrix in 2004 as an Analyst, Mr. Murphy has been involved in a variety of M&A advisory transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, exclusive sales and management buyouts. Prior to that, Mr. Murphy worked as a consulting associate for Cambridge Associates LLC in Arlington, Virginia, where he aided multi-million dollar endowed institutions make investment portfolio asset allocation and investment manager decisions. Mr. Murphy graduated from the University of Richmond where he received a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, Mr. Murphy is qualified as a Series 7 FINRA General Securities Representative and is a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Jonathan P. Piques
Since joining Matrix in 2003 as an Analyst, Mr.
Piques has been involved in a variety of M&A advisory transactions
including acquisitions, divestitures, exclusive sales and management
buyouts. He is currently responsible for conducting initial due diligence,
performing financial, industry and buyer research, creating valuation
and financing models, drafting confidential information memoranda, and
participating in the marketing process. Prior to joining Matrix, he
worked for SG Cowen's Technology Investment Banking practice in San
Francisco. Mr. Piques graduated magna cum laude from the University
of Richmond where he received a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Finance.

David W. Shoulders
Mr. Shoulders is responsible for conducting financial,
industry, and buyer research, creating valuation and
financing models, and preparing selling and private
placement memoranda. Prior to joining Matrix in 2006,
Mr. Shoulders worked as an analyst for Legg Mason's
Aerospace, Defense & Government Services Investment
Banking practice in Baltimore, Maryland where his
experience included a variety of mergers, acquisitions,
and public offerings. Mr. Shoulders graduated from the
College of William and Mary where he received a B.B.A.
in Finance with a concentration in accounting. Mr.
Shoulders is also qualified as a Series 7 FINRA General
Securities Representative.

Bradford D. Spooner, CPA
Mr. Spooner joined Matrix as an Associate in November 2006. He is currently responsible for conducting initial due diligence, performing financial, industry and buyer research, creating valuation and
financing models, drafting confidential information memoranda, and participating in the marketing process.
Prior to joining Matrix, Brad worked as a Senior Analyst for American Capital Strategies in Bethesda,
Maryland; and as an audit senior for Deloitte & Touche LLP in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University
of Arkansas where he received a B.S.B.A. with concentrations in Accounting and Financial Management. Brad is
also a certified public accountant, licensed in the state of Texas.
