Situation
- D.Q.S., headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of analytical sampling systems to process manufacturers.
- M&A International partner firm Holland Corporate Finance served as the exclusive advisor to D.Q.S. in the sale of the business.
Objective
- Holland Corporate Finance and D.Q.S. believed that there would be significant interest from U.S. acquirers and sought a partner to introduce the acquisition opportunity to potential U.S. acquirers.
Solution
- Holland Corporate Finance partnered with Matrix to represent the opportunity to potential strategic acquirers in the U.S.
- Matrix introduced the opportunity to a number of U.S. strategic buyers, including CIRCOR International, Inc. (NYSE:CIR), a Burlington, Massachusetts, provider of valves and fluid control products that allow companies to use fluids safely and efficiently in the instrumentation, thermal fluid regulation and petrochemical markets.
- Matrix assisted Holland Corporate Finance throughout the transaction and in negotiations with CIRCOR.
