Over the past nineteen years we have worked hard to foster long lasting relationships with our clients - the management, founders and shareholders of corporations and privately-held businesses, and we owe much of our success to the faith and trust that they have placed in us. In order to build on these valuable relationships and to acknowledge the key role our clients have played in our historical success, we have formed the Matrix Founders Circle.

Founded in 2005, the Founders Circle offers a unique opportunity for select members to meet on a regular basis for discussion, education and networking. It is truly a unique opportunity for everyone involved and we are excited about the potential it has to offer.

In late September 2007, we welcomed over 75 guests to the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC. The event began with a welcome dinner reception, which was held on the resort porch overlooking the West Lawn. Everyone enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and networking with friends and associates, both old and new. After breakfast on Thursday morning, the business portion of the program began with an timely update on Current Business Trends in China presented by Mark Lerner, Morgen, Evan & Co., followed by a fascinating panel discussion on Wealth Management: An Insiders View of the current US Economy and Stock Markets, including Randy Cone, UBS; Aaron Gurwitz, Lehman Brothers and Ash Rajan, Merrill Lynch. The Matrix team wrapped up the morning business portion with an update on the company and the M&A market. Golf on Course #2, tennis and spa/relaxation time filled the remainder of the afternoon for our Founders and their spouses. Later that evening guests enjoyed cocktails on the Resort Club Veranda and a private dinner.

Friday morning concluded with a group breakfast and informative presentation on Sale/Leasebacks – Financial Solutions for the Middle Market by Mark Carroll, STAG Capital Partners, followed by Mike Morrison, Managing Director, Matrix, who wrapped up the event.

The event was a huge success and provided great networking opportunities for our members as well as for Matrix.
