Matt is a member of the Energy & Multi-Site Retail Team and is responsible for conducting financial, industry, and buyer research, creating valuation and financing models, and preparing selling and private placement memoranda. Since joining Matrix in 2004 as an Analyst, Matt has been involved in a variety of M&A advisory transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, exclusive sales and management buyouts.

Prior to that, Matt worked as a consulting associate for Cambridge Associates LLC in Arlington, Virginia, where he aided multi-million dollar endowed institutions make investment portfolio asset allocation and investment manager decisions.

Matt graduated from the University of Richmond where he received a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Finance. He is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Baltimore CFA Society. Additionally, Matt is qualified as a Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 FINRA General Securities Representative.
